Guidance

What did they say?

CAPEX guidance as the companies stated it, quoted, with the speaker when it comes from their own call.

Company-stated CAPEX figures

11 companies · the newest statement per company and period · 5 from the companies' own calls · below, the largest stated for 2026
how it is counted

Company-stated figures only, read by a rule that requires the forward-looking word before the number, from what the companies publish and what they say on their earnings calls; a statement made on a call names its speaker. Quarterly periods (e.g. Q1 FY2027) come from the outlook given on a call. Nothing here is estimated.

how it is counted

A sentence is kept when it holds a CAPEX term and a forward-looking cue and the company speaks of itself (we, our, the company), whether it states a figure or not. Dropped before counting: market-size talk and quoted third parties, overlong sentences and slide-deck text, past-tense sentences with no forward figure, and a figure that sits nearer an operating-expense phrase than the CAPEX term. A statement about one asset or part of a year is kept and counted here, but gives no figure in the chart or the table.

Stated CAPEX by year · one bar per figure

Each company's year as it writes it — fiscal or calendar — so one year's bars do not cover the same twelve months. Solid: the figure, the low end of a range or a floor (≥); light: up to the high end of a range or a ceiling (≤). FY = the company's fiscal year as written; CY = calendar; bare year = as written. Quarterly outlooks are in the table, not the bars: Microsoft Q1 FY2026, Microsoft Q1 FY2027.

The newest statement per company and period (a year, or a quarter from a call). Low and High are the ends as stated: a point states one figure (≈), a floor only its low end (≥), a ceiling only its high end (≤). Company-stated figures only, read by a rule that requires the forward-looking word before the number, from what the companies publish and what they say on their earnings calls; a statement made on a call names its speaker.
